BLAND COUNTY
VETERAN'S MEMORIAL

American Legion Post 20 and its members are supporters of the BLAND COUNTY VETERAN'S MEMORIAL.

Heretofore there was nothing in Bland County that honored all our Veterans. The mission of the BLAND COUNTY VETERAN'S MEMORIAL organization is to build and maintain a permanent memorial, not only to honor those who have served our great country, but also to honor those who are presently serving in our military.

See the memorial on facebook.

See an album on the memorial after the wall was installed.

See pictures taken at the dedication of the Memorial, November 11, 2012.

See pictures of the newly completed memorial.

See some May and July 2012 pictures during construction of the  memorial park site.

The Bland County Veterans Memorial Committee is selling bricks to be placed at the memorial that will honor those serving or who have served.  See Brick Pavers. A brick paver honoring someone (living or dead) is a lasting and special tribute to their service.

For more information or to order a brick by phone call Jim Sparks at 276 928 1752 or Karen Hodock at 928 1677.
